080308 Big Day for the Country

Last week was the hectic week for all the politicians. Why? Because of the General Election! You will see all of banner hanging around the town, Talks show happening everywhere, candidates come out shake hands with the people, talk with the people. Almost everyday newspapers are full of news about election.
Even someone come out with song either to convinced the voters they are the best for them or just making fun of somebody that you know I know.

Finally it come to the day where everyone go back to their home and vote. I managed to get a job as voters list checker at my area. Easy job, short working hours but very boring. Interesting part is you can see alots of different kind of people coming in to vote. Some are freshmen, some are veteran. You can differenciate them easily by watching they vote.

Here are some photo of how the inside look like. They even change the box into transparent type. Prevent cheating… I guess.

The voting end at 5pm sharp. After that is the vote counting time, i didnot stay till the end as I am lazy to stay there few hours just to count the vote. Lets the person who are appointed to to do it. I just go home and wait for result online. I got a friend who follow the results from the beginning till the end. Visit his blog. Click here.
